Making this breakfast of champions will not take more than two minutes. This smoothie is packed with powerhouse ingredients, and all you need to do is dump them in a high-speed blender and you’re good to go. When I was looking at tweaking my usual smoothie, I wanted to make it as simple as possible, using the highest possible nutrient value with under 3 ingredients.
Without further ado, This is all you need:
1 Cup of Freshly washed spinach
1.5 Cups Frozen Blueberries
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
That’s it. Make sure the spinach you’re using has been washed well, and add in a bit of water to ensure smooth blending. I add about 1/4th cup of water and I’m good to go.
I’m sure you’re wondering, why does this smoothie get the title of ruling them all? Because of its three ingredients, they are nutrient kings.
Blueberries are chock full of anti-oxidants, are a low sugar fruit, and boost brain health as well as immunity. Spinach is another powerhouse, you get a cup of greens right in the morning. Spinach is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, magnesium, iron, and manganese. And Chia seeds are packed with fiber, protein, and Omega 3 Fatty Acids.

Here’s how to meal prep for this
Purchase bags of fresh organic baby spinach per week, buy a few packets of frozen blueberry packs to keep in the freezer (fresh blueberries are ridiculously expensive, and spoil too easily as well), and have huge boxes of chia seeds with a scooper at hand.
Every morning, your breakfast will take under 2 minutes to throw all this in a blender and you’re good to go. If you’re a smoothie newbie and worried about how spinach tastes, trust me there’s nothing to worry about! Raw spinach is very mild tasting and once it’s blended in with blueberries, all you’ll taste is the fruit.

PS: Here’s a pro tip: Add in chunks of frozen pineapple pieces, this will boost up the nutrient list to add in anti-inflammatory properties of pineapple to the mix while giving your smoothie a happy tropical twist in taste!
