Meet the perfect snack for when you’re on the go. Date chocolate balls, or bliss balls as some call them, are one of the easiest and healthiest snacks to make. They only require a few simple ingredients and take about 2 minutes to put together. These little chocolate balls are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without any added sugar.
Plus, they’re packed with protein and fiber which will help keep you feeling full throughout the day. Give these a try next time you need a quick snack! They’re also vegan, gluten-free, free from refined sugar, and require just two minutes of prep time! And you will get addicted to this taste, we promise!
Ingredients:
– 1 cup Medjool dates
-1 cup walnuts (or almonds or cashews, use whatever you’ve got)
– ¼ cup cacao powder
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until the mixture becomes sticky. Use your hands to form small balls out of the mixture. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes so they can firm up.
Also make sure you get “Medjool” dates and not any other type of dates. Medjool has a chewy caramel taste and makes the date balls taste less “date-like”.
